Anyone whose got the 416 in thier 400s was it worth it? Do you wish you had gotten the 426. im havin a tough time deciding what to get but atleast a 416 kit with a stage 2 hot cam. And i assume if i were to get the 11.1 comp then id be alright to run with 93 pump gas.

I put a Wiseco 416cc kit in my '99 400 this past winter, and i love it. I felt a GREAT increase in power, but i did add a DJ jet kit, K&N air filter, Uni airbox lid jets, and full Yoshi at the same time. The power was def. worth it i think. But I went into it saying "well, if i blow the 416 up, then i can just put a 426, then a 440 in it..." so that is why i went w/a 416cc 11:1 compression kit. and i run 93 octane in it as well.

i love my 416, but if your looking for some real hp gains stroke it. send it to poweroll and you will have a beast of a beast
my friend had a 02' 400ex with a 416...it had lots of power compared to stock....still couldnt compete with kfx's or z..but definitly a big gain, go for it

Not judging, but if you can't beat a KFX or Z400 with a 416EX, you need to learn how to ride a quad better. The Z's are only a tiny bit faster than a stock 400EX. A properly-built 416 should beat a Z or KFX no problem.

i couldnt have said it better. hell, i was barly (and when i say barly, i mean by a quad lenght or less) getting beat by a Z w/ pipe, filter, jets and i was on my stock 400 (b4 i did all the motor/breathing mods). the drag strip was at haspin acers and we were running the whole strip of 300+ feet. i just cant wait till the county fair's start up in the summer. :)
i killer a piped and filter z400 with my full exhaust filter and jet kit by at least 5-6 quads dragging down a dirt rd.

get a high compression piston or it won't feel like much more power.
