my friend has one but i don't really like it. I think it sits to high and rolles to easy. I would get a polaris sportsman 450 or 500.

The sportsman 500's feel like big suv's. The old ones at least, havn't driven a newer one.

you're right they are pretty big but i still would get a polaris over the arctic cat. I really don't like the handleing on the arctic cat.

My friend has an old 2002 300 2x4, and I am serious when I say this. We put that machine thru hell. High speed back road runs, stood it up flooded it more than once, blew some kind of oil out the side ( we werent sure if it was supposed to do it so we kept riding lol ) got it stuck a lot more than once and just beat the crap out of it. We still ride it and it runs like brand new. The only reason I'm interested in artic cat, they seem to be really really tough and I love the plastic. The irs is really nice too, even on the old ones.

Yes they are very reliable and tough as hell, my 250 4x4 has been through 5 years of hell and runs like a champ, I can't give all the credit to Arctic CAt though they only due chasis and and body parts, Suzuki does the engine, and now Suzuki is bought out by Bombardier so it only gets better , i would recomend buying the 06 arctic cats and earlir those are bombardier engines and you can't do much better than that in terms of reliability and all around performance ..happy riding
