Please Help

I'm a newbie in need of help. I have a 2002 Honda trx400ex and I have just finished jetting my carb my question is on the bottom of the float bowl there is a rubber hose about 1 1/2 ft long does this attach to anything I didnt get a chance to see where it came from any help would be greatly appreciated.

If i remember correctly that is just the bowl overflow and is supposed to hang down incase the float ever gets stuck etc,,,and it takes the fuel to the ground. Just route it behind the motor , between the swing arm bolt and the motor.
