the oil filter is on the right side while sitting on it. it takes 2 screws to get it off, and it is on the top right of the crank case cover. the oil filter cover is round.

i have never seen/heard/replaced a "fuel screen/filter"

I think are talking about the screen filter located on the clutch side of the bike. You have to pull the left side case. It's down below the timing chain on the bottom of the motor. I'v had the case off a couple of times and I always clean that filter. But it never really seems to be dirty. Good luck.

The fuel screen is built into the petcock (thing to turn the gas on and off) just take the tank off, drain it, turn it upside down and take off the only 2 bolts there are :D

Its right there

Thanks Martin thats what I was talking about. I was wondering if it and the other oil screen in the case were cleaned when you change oil or if it was just when you rebuilt the motor.

There's another oil screen in the bottom of the oil tank. It's accessed by unscrewing the line that comes out of the bottom of the oil tank--the screen comes right out. I suppose it's a good idea to check it every couple of oil changes (it's easy to get to).

I wouldn't worry about the gas screen. If something was blocking gas to the carb/engine, your bike would stall/spudder and you'd deffinently notice. You should check out the oil one, though.
