Me personally, I would go with the 11 to 1 ove 10 to 1 anyday just for a pinch more of added low end torque. And they are still very reliable too...

Aye, go with the ~11:1. Don't go any higher with the 400ex, unless you plan to run race fuel. (as others already stated).
