400ex or z400

i need some help chosing..

what is better for trailriding and occasional TT races..

what one will be cheaper to moddify to a comfortable power range.

what one is funner and looks better?

im just goin to say 400ex cause i have one but they are really Reliable

I ride a 400ex and i love it! but i have ridden a few z's and they have a crazy throttle feel (good i mean) when you are use to a honda. it is nice also to have the reverse. both would be a lot of fun. with all the new bike flooding the market it would probably be cheaper to find used parts for an ex though. just my opinion.

yea i like the fact that i get reverse with the z, but i know how reliable the ex's and thats a big plus...are the z's like that at all?

You can get reverse on the 400EX's too man. ;)

i think its a question of whether you want reverse or not..

if each were the same money and same condition, id pick reverse for all the trailriding/blazing i do..

if i was interested in racing, id go with the ex and its lighter weight..
