i think he wants to know if he can put a 400ex oil cooler and tank on his 300ex.
and the answer is yes, but unless you have a bigbore or extensive mods, it is unnessecary.
btw most people just use the cooler.

Why would a 300ex need an oil cooler from a 400ex?? Does it actually overheat?

yes modified 300s have been known to get very hot if it has extensive motor mods and pretty high compression(12:1-13.5:1)

i was think of doing it because my motor get pretty hot when trail riding. I guess cause i dont go to fast but give it alot of gas so i was think of doing this. anyway if i do this where do i conect the oil lines?
