I would take the shocks, Acerbics hand guards, rear tires and wheels, and that would be it. I would put the stock rims and tires back on for you. Then you could have the rest of it. I wouldn't have a need for it. I would sell the remaining stuff on ebay or sell to friends that need, or want it. After that I would be willing to take 4,250.00. OBO as long as the price is resonable. I also have an extra oil filter, various honda bolts, and a shop manual all together about a 60$ value I would throw in.

Let me know

Thanks Jason I tend to agree with you on this issue. However everyone is entitled to an opinion and if that is why it isn't selling then that is good to know too.

I guess I would be willing to sell the bike without the bark busters, nor any assistance in delivery, and I would put on new grips so you couldn't tell for 4,250. Shocks and everything else listed but the bark busters.

So if anybody is interested let me know.
Thanks

don't get me wrong the ex is a great bike. I had a 01 I bought new and built the crap out of. just about finished parting it out now but that is beside the point. I only mean the ex is uot dated to the newer liquid cooled 4 strokes. if Honda could add that to the 400 it be the balls. then again just buy a 450. I'm not trying to bash I've owned one and loved it and to be honest I'm missing it quite a bit lately. I just wanted to show another side of things

okay since the 450 came out in 04 there is a new quad in town that has out sold all others...for many many years (and I know you won't believe this,,,but the warrior held the title) yes the warrior...i know i know....but now the ole 400ex holds the title as the best selling (numbers wise quad). Also in 05 with the added reverse it really jumped it into the woods....is it better faster than the 450's of course not,,,but what it does appeal to is the person who does not run mx or XC.....which if you look at stats for every one person racing a quad in some form,,,there 48.5 people using for pleasure....dealers are paying high dollars for the 05 quad at dealer auctions,,,,they are actually going for more or very very close give or take 100 against a 05 450....just a bit of info thats all.

its still great bike

my buddy's got a 2000 400 mine is a 2005 400. side by side the 2005 is wider than the 2000. not sure if this is something that had been changed on my buddies quad b4 he got it or the 2005 sits wider than years b4. the addition of reverse and the gearing is different on the 05 versus 04 and lower. and body style is same as 450. anyone know if the 05 model is wider between the tires than 04 and older?

Any Intersted buyers?????
Any friends
family members. It is a great bike. I like my 400 some may want more power some not but it handles great. Very Very Very reliable. That is number one cause you don't wanna be watchin while your buddies are ridin. The Fox Float Shox were the best thing I added to this bike. Ride is excellent.
