as some of you know i have been down and out since october I have to thank everyone that felt for me in my time of need without you guys and my friends i dont know if i would have kept such a good outlook.
unfortunately I do not know if i will ever ride again.
my surgery going in had 3 hypothesis
1 i had a sith on my bone and it was pinching my nerve all that would have to be done is grind the sith off.
2 my disc was torn off and pinching my nerve and all they would have to do is fish out the broken piece.
3rd, my herniation was so large they would have to cut my disc to alleviate the pressure, which would be the hardest to recover from.
#2 was the problem and I am very lucky that was my problem.
the only reason i am in pain is because of the cut he had to make to fish out my broken off disc.
All i have to say about having a back problem is DO NOT GO BY WHAT OTHER PEOPLE TELL YOU TO DO. sometimes surgery is not the only answer. but you have to realize alot of people are scared to death of going under the knife and have a biased opinion because of that.
I say this, make sure you research everything yourself and make sure you have all option exhausted before surgery.
EMG TESTS are not nessacary(they stick pins in your back and test reaction time with your leg etc.
from what my doctor told me emgs are painful and MRI's will superceed any positive emg. if the emg is pos and mri is negative they will go by the MRI
i am happy i am done with this, now all i have to do is recover.
i have had a very hard time turning 30 with my back pain and also, on january 14th my father passed away from a heart attack so keeping my spirit high was very hard for me. I cried alot because of my injured state of physical shape andwith my father passing away. this all makes me stronger.
i know i posted this in the R forum but this is the ponly forum i surf on here anymore. so if someone feels like x posting this go right ahead i know not everyone i know surfs inhere and im sure there are fells that would like to know I am ok and hopefully recover 100%
so once again i would like to thank everyone for there support.
harlen you helped me in the begining of all this along with many others i appreciate all of you and love you all.
thanks for reading and take my words about how to figure out if you need surgery very seriously.
thank you all:)
