Reverse on The x

I was wondering how to remove the reverse on my X i heard it gained ponies and saves weight if any of u have done this can plz Reply on how to do it

to remove reverse i would take it to the local mechanic or something because you will have to take out the reverse gear and equaly space the gears out and so fourth you dont gain to much by doing

Yeah, I had an X..if you will...I don't think you'll gain much either, the only thing you'll lose is a little weight, if you wanna do that take slim fast..lol...just kidding dude...i've seen people take out reverse and first gear tho.

hm. i got this idea from a thing on ebay. it said he took the reverse off to save weight and "gain some ponies" ....... so i thought to myself "i need hp!" so i figured i ask.

thats a good idea anyways man. look at honda. they did it wit the 400ex from the factory. and if ur a good rider u dont need it anyways. i ride almost every day of the week and i need reverse like twice a month. ( for that hard to get outa trails or mess ups)

i woudlnt recomend it because all you are doing is spending money for a little to nothing gain what you are going to save about a half of pound to a pound that isnt a big gain there so i would only take out reverse if you wanna do what tc does add 6th gear

my ears opened a bit. how do i get that installed. i might drop a 350x engine though cause mine is nothin but problems......

to add the 6th gear im not sure how tc does it but if you look on there web site there is a honda 250x engine twin carb with 6 gears there are only a couple of these though that were made but im sure with enough money you can get the 6th gear

yeah that motor is sweet..but I thought there was only one prototype 6 speed.?? anyways that is awesome..
