How well do 14mm hold up? or how well would they hold up on a yfz with stock shocks and 200lb mxer.

alot of companies still use them, and as long as your not wrecking alot, or riding without decent shocks they will be ok.

ive tried to stay away from arms that use them just to avoid headaches.

i take it your still looking for a set of arms?

Yea i am, i actually found a set around here for 350, +2 JD standard travels with new bushings and tie rods, but I wont be able to afford shocks right now, So i will be using my stockers. I have heard they will work fine seeing how heavily valved they are in the first place.....its just those balljoints im worried about. if it were a frap style i wouldnt have a problem. o well, hopefully these will work or I can find a better a arm for the same price.

i have jd arms and have been very pleased with them. i have broken three ball joints in the 2 years that ive had them. two when me and a dirt biker collidided(i was pinned out in fourth, and he was hauling too) and the other one i broke trying like a 300 foot wooded hill climb and 250ft flipped it to the bottom. in my opion they are pretty tough, and i would rather brake like a 40 dollar ball joint than bend an a-arm or something

I'm not sure about anything earlier but I'm fairlly sure he has been using the Laeger style ball joints for awhile and I know he has been buying the Ishock ball joints for about the last 4 months now. He might of used them before when Laeger was using the 14mm. The guy who owns JD Performance used to work for Laeger.
