I have a completely stock 400ex besides a k&n air filter w/precharger, nerfs, maier skid, and rear holeshots. I've heard that 400ex's come jetted lean from the factory, and with the K&N air filter, i think my quad might be running lean. The altitude of my area is about 600ft above sea level, but i sometimes go to Silver Lake Dunes, i'm not sure what elevation it is there.
Should i increase my main and/or pilot jet, and to what size? also, do i need to adjust any thing else on my quad? what cheap/free performance adjustments do u reccommend? I appreciate any help, thanks
