Go into the atv's for sale and look at how many 04's and 05's are going for 4000-4300$.
You can get new leftovers for that much if you find the right dealer.

I need to move back east, getting ripped off out here in southern california. The market is bigger out here but $3500 is a beat up 2001 400ex out here.

out here, a beat up 2001 400ex is more like $1800-$2000
