400ex crank ?'s

Does anybody now where i can get a stroker kit that will take my 426ex to a 450 because I still want to be able to run a couple of national races and dont want to be over tha limit. Any help will be appreciated

Hot rods make a 460 kit and thats your best bet but GT thunder make a kit to but it aint cheep...

yeah but i want to keep it 450cc's or a lil under if i have to! I want to be able to run a production class in tha nationals.

4 stroke tech would have what you need to.

A +4 stroke crank will put you right at 450 with your 426 piston. BUT you will either need a custom piston made, which is not at all cheap, or TC makes a -2 rod to use nay piston with the +4 crank but that mean having the labor of a new rod being installed plus i think the rod is $200+. either way, you are looking at dropping another grand into your motor,

If you take your current setup with the 88mm piston (85mm stock), and have hotrods modify your crank to a +4mm (74mm)you'll be right at 449.8 cc's.

(88.0mm/2)*3.14*74mm = 449,848 mm^3 = 449.8cc's
