I need new shocks, but since I'm getting ready to go into college, I don't have hardly any money to get a full aftermarket setup. I can however afford to buy some takeoffs from a friend of mine's 450R.
The question is, what kind of handling advantages will I see? WIll it ride like crap or will it stay nice and low like it is now? I don't want a Raptor-stanced ****box. I figured since the travel is longer it will make the bike sit higher... truth?
Also, the obvious issue is = will they fit?
Basically what I'm trying to ask is: Do I want these shocks? I have the money to buy them, but I don't have the money to waste if it handles like garbage.
