Zedicus is right, C Leigh does some of the best 250R porting out there. Another person who does excellent port work is Macdizzy but I heard his turn around time is unbelievably slow!!

macdizzy is the man, but he isn't accepting any new work.. last time I talked to him, he said he is done porting.

Yeah he does MX porting. It should run night and day difference, at least mine did when I had mine ported/polished. If you need his info, Zedicus has it so pm him.

I'd reccomend Baldwins. Hetrick's does a great job too, and they are a little cheaper, and have a faster turn around. They claimed 48HP with their MX port, shaved head, 38mm airstriker, fmf pipe w/t shorty silencer, good reeds (personal preference), and a good filter, all of that running on 110 octane race gas. I haven't got to ride mine yet, but I am hoping it is nice. From the looks of it, they do a very nice job. Like I said though, if I had the time and money, I would definetly have Baldwins do it.

Yea, as long as you don't have your head shaved to increase compression, or anything like that, then you should be fine with high octane pump gas.
