shift prob.

Everytime I shift from nuetral into 1st, the shifter clicks down, and the nuetral light turns off, but it doesn't actually "shift" into 1st until I give it a little gas. whats wrong?:confused:

is it just 1st gear?
could be clutches slipping.......or it could be something internally
but id go with the simple things first....
