whats a budget front shock upgrades for 250r?

the front shocks on the bike are stock 250r shocks and im looking to change them but i dont have much money. the rear shock is the stock shock with a racetech reservoir on it. so im not sure if its stock or not. im just looking a budget upgrade for the front shocks. i heard 450r front shocks work well? or should i say for some triple rate works shocks?

I would check the for sale section for some used TCS, Elka, PEP or Axis shocks. I can tell you from experience the TCS are very good for the money.

450r shocks are a better upgrade than works shocks

A proper valved triple rate works shock will work better on a 250R than 450R shocks. Though Elka and Axis are of course an excellent shock for a cheaper upgrade from stock I would definately go with triple rate Works shocks.
