chain question

do the links in your chain just pop off or what i put a new sproket on and i have the master link off but the links won,t come off.....:chinese: :chinese: :chinese:

if it is a stock chain u have to grind or slit the chain to get it off.

If you have the master link off then the chain should be ready to remove.

To remove the master link, you must first remove the retaining clip. Next remove the side plate located just behind the clip you just removed. Once the side plate is removed, lightly tap the exposed pins on the master link. Then slide the master link out of the chain. Now the chain is ready to remove.

Or you can use a chain breaker. But yeah the good ol' dremel will work as well. You got to break it a replace the link that you broke with a master link.
