Cooling Air VS liquid

I've always have been a 2stroke guy :D but now thinking about a thumper. I was wondering how the 400 air cool compares to the suzuki and yamahas that are liquid cool?

I actually prefer air cooled to an extent. It will take a long time to get a 400ex to overheat, mines never overheated. I'd be afraid of getting mud all over the radiator when riding trails and it getting to hot. Plus its so easy to work on a 400ex engine.:cool:
