View Full Version : New hot cam, hard starting?

just put in a hot cam stage 2 and checked the clearances all looked within spec, but since i put it in quad is hard to start do i need to rejet adjust airscrew richer or leaner if so?

also have hmf full exhaust, kandn filter, and is an 06 with electric starter any help appreciated

You will need to rejet because i am sure its now running lean.

Can you describe the hard starting problem a little better? A little more info would be good to help diagnose.

the starter turns the motor over and kinda builds up momentum to start giving it gas doesnt seem to help i have a 48 pilot also

Try 50 pilot, and what clip is your needle on?

ive got the stock needle and you cant adjust it no clip positions on the stock 06 needle, anyone no a good needle
