see we have alot of difference in driver fans... im a dale jr. fan myself and enjoying watching him be consistent..... i know alot of you prolly hate dale jr., but how about driving a very beat up car to a 4th place finish. gotta give him props on that.

i look for kasey kahne to do good like mentioned before. it seems they all have the terrible sophmore season. if Jr. doesnt win it, i want it to be elliott sadler(just to be different, dont see to many sadler fans)

Dale Jr. all the way! I was a big fan of Dale Sr., but after his unfortunate accident, I have been hoping for Jr. to fill his shoes. Seven championships is a lot.......

i hate to say this, but i dont see dale jr winning 7 championships like his dad. i think dale jr. will struggle on winning a championship. it took his dad forever to win the daytona 500, dale jr did it in 3 years i think. it'll prolly take jr for ever for the championship. maybe im wrong i dont know, i could see it happening though.

but no matter what nascar will not be worth watching in a few years. all of these BS rules about language, and pushin and shovin, are stupid. its just how racing is. i guarantee you dale sr. is watching down on all of this crap nascar keeps doing shaking his head. they wouldnt let him race if he was still here, cus he'd break all the rules, just like he did in the good ol days:D . i guess you can tell i was big Earnhardt fan to.

I always seem to be for the underdog I guess. When I first started watching Nascar I liked him because he drove the valvoline car and Ive never changed. He has been racing for as long as anybody and still hasnt won his championship. I think he is due. Anybody else on here Martin fans???

I saw a thread here about "Cars of tommorow" to be used in nascar. All of the cars will be the same except the brand of engine.

Quote from the article: "The Car of Tomorrow is scheduled to be phased into full use in the Nextel Cup Series over the next three seasons".

I'm still rootin for Martin. Big surprise for me is Karl Edwards this year being out of the top 20 in points so far. He needs to pick it up!

And tough guy Gordon starts a fight with his helmet on......."Don't hit my pretty face" What a poor excuse for a Nascar Cup driver......

Yah, Earnhardt was the man, noone will ever be as good as him. I thought that I was the only person with the Dale JR. struggeling to win a championship theory. I too have the same reason. It just took Dale sooooo long to win that 500, and I think it will take Jr. forever to win a championship, since he won the 500 in his 3rd year.

I laughed so hard when I seen that during the race, it just proves what everyone says about him!

Exactly what my thoughts are, Since he died Nascar has done nothing but suck more every year. I am also a Dale Jr. fan, and hopefully he can get a championship this year but I have a bad feeling that Jimmie Johnson will get alltho I can't stand him. JMO

umm let me just say this gordon has done more and is by far the best driver around now. he is one of the few compared to the great number 3. gordon skills are amazing and has more skill than almost anyone out there, with that said i am a huge chevy fan, more so hendrix. i would love it to see busch win a race some time soon. he is getting so close. i would also like the 43 car win just because of the history of that number and so forth. as of the "big gay 4 some" haha come on those guys are always damn close to the top, dont hate them just because they are that good.

this is the great thing about this sport. fans will tear each other apart jsut because of the driver that they like

Gordon is definetely one of the best racers in Nascar, I just dont prefer for some of his styles or actions in racing. Everyone I ever heard talk about Nascar either likes Jeff Gordon or they think hes gay. And come on, going to a fight with your helmet on? :huh

god i hate morons like you. learn some grammar and try to prove your point some other way than calling the most successful team in nascar so far this season gay. what is this, 5th grade?

and for redline ranger....first off, you're not even old enough to drive, why are you even talking about drivers? second, the hendrick team is gay, huh? well why is it that before every race when the national anthem is playing, the tv coverage shows all of the drivers with their wives/girlfriends...even michael waltrip has a good looking woman by his side, but why is it that little e never has a girl with him? start talking when your driver wins a race this season.

im a dale jr fan myself. i also root for #20,#48,#24 but mostly jr is my most favorite driver. i went to bristol 2 weeks ago, ive gotta say it was a good race, but the finish where kurt busch was trying to make a snow angel at the start finish line after he won? WTF thats totally wierd and childish to me. i think it was good for gordons image as a racer to finally show some agression while not in a race car.

I gotta go with the #20 car, although he isn't quite the same since anger management or whatever they sent him to. I liked it a few years back when he was still a cocky, smartass, SOB. :D

no i know he has i was just meaning i want to see him win one this season. i want him to bring another win for hendrix. haha i know he was won and i have been watching nascar for a long time

and yea i was happy that gordon was getting a little more aggressive(spelling??) but that is just not how he races, i dont understand why so many people get on his case about how he does things. he knows how to win and he knows what works. even though it has been a while since a win he is still in my book one of the greats

I don't liek Jeff Gordon at all. I agree with the whole 4some thing. And there is NO FREAKIN WAY that he can even be put on a lever near Earnhardt Sr. He was the best ever, and it will stay that way forever. I guarentee he would have won at least one more championships if he had not died in that accident

remember tony stewart had a terrible second season, and look at him now. last year was kahne's second season - terrible, but look at him now. i think it will be between these two openwheel guys at the end ot the year
