Hey, When I ride my 400 the chain starts slipping (its really loose anyway). How do I tighten it? Am I supposed to take some links out? Im a newbie, sorry.

To adjust the chain, you need to loosen the 4 allen holes that are located on the axle housing. After that is done, get a screw driver and stick it in one of the slots next to the rear sprocket. It is tightened by pulling backwards, and loosened by going forward. tighten up the allen holes and go ride!

Yes try to do everything with the appropriate tool for the job, it will make your machine last 10x longer an look alot nicer in the long run, but out on the trail a screw driver will do just fine, imo..

Ouch! Push down on the quad and see if the chain too tight. I always adjust mine to 1-3/8 inch play like it says in the book.
