sparkplug and jetting

2 questions for you all........ when is a sparkplug considered fouled? and can you reuse a sparkplug to check the main jet after it was just used to check the pilot circuit?

You will know if a spark plug is fouled because it wont start worth a crap, and it will be either covered with gas or completely black. I know a lot of people change theirs but i still have the original one in and have had to jet it a lot and it was still accurate enough. If your checking the main jet, jsut make sure to hold it at the right position for atleast 5 seconds to get the right burn so your spark plug will show if its lean or rich.
