Reinforcing rings on stock honda rims

Can you weld Champion reinforcing rings onto a pair or stock honda rims?

I don't know who did it or how well it works, but a guy at one of the local MX tracks had reinforcing rings put on stock Honda wheels.

I saw some guys quad with champion rings on stock 400ex rims, and was wondering how to weld them on if theres ne special way to weld them on

I think i saw them in dirthwheels once, they were like 60 buks for a pair, im probably wrong on the price tho, i saw it a while ago

OMF are making ring and they sell them about 20 $

we called champion and omf both and they said that they would not sell us just the ring. they claim its to hard to mount and get them balanced, but i'm postitive i've read that you can buy them somewhere.

Yes you can weld Champion reinforcing rings to your stock honda wheels, but I don't beleive I would. The stock honda wheels are very strong the way they are. you would need to grind off the rolled edge then weld them on.
