I have a white bros e series silencer now and its not too loud but, I need something more quiet. Im moving on 4 acres but there are also woods near me too. There are 3 houses at the pack of the property but I dont want to piss them off but, I want to ride. Can you tell me the most quiet exhuast for a 400ex.
Thanks

Not tryign to start anything, but in your sig is says your building your own "race ready". If you plan on racing, there really is no want/ need for a quiet exhaust. All that will get you is that you wont be able to hear your own quad over everyone elses extremely loud ones. Thats just my thought though, like I said, I'm not trying to start a loud vs. quiet post.

No im keeping that exhaust. I would rather ride with a stock exhuast anytime I want than riding with my e series when my neighbors aren't home. I am just looking for something quiet so I dont bother them.

How many rings you got on there? Probably about 12? Just take out some of the rings, I ran 4 the other day, and its real soft. Try that, and I think you'll like it. You can even go lower also.

The stock exhaust would be the quietest or a quiet core if they make them for the eseries that would probbably help. Also you can try asking the people in the houses if it bothers them when you are riding.

thats the best thing to do first.... if it doesnt bother them, make it as loud as you wont. but really if they called the cops, they couldnt do nothing because you'd be on your own property. unless there's a noise ordinance.

i would go to the neighbors, all 3, and ask how they feel about it. i would just go over like every month or so just to check with them, see how they are doing, if its still ok, etc.

i mean, if ur riding everyday, they might get annoyed

I have found ppl dont get to to annoyed with sound as long it is at a decnet hour.

Plus, taking disks out on your exaust is a piece of cake. Just take them out when riding there. Then when you want some more power pop them back in..

altho, do you guys thing a rejet will be nesesary? I dont think so.. but mabie.
