Powercoating a engine

Wondering if it was possible to powder caot an entire engine. My friend wants to to his cases, head, and cylinder on his lt500r. Will the powder caot last on it or will it get to hot?

it will last if done properly, however coating a cylinder will trap in heat that is not needed. most of teh respected engine builders i deal with have expressed thier dislike for powdercoating the cylinder, but center and side cases are ok.
