back brakes

Well i noticed after there was no pressure in my back brakes that the big long screw near the parking brake fell out. Is that needed for the piston to move?

im not a 100% sure but i think you do, i would just get a parking break block off instead of putting it back on but if you need the parts i got my stock parking break assembley.

Because i wore my brake pads out pretty bad and the piston is jus stuck and i cant get it back down. But im thinking its because that screw is missing. Becuz ive gotten it down with plies when it was in
