Go to a 60 pilot, see if it blubbers then back it down to a 58 if it is blubbering. Put carb back to original adjustments. Try it out and get back and post your results.

my neddle is a DDJ, in third clip position, i will have to order parts but will get back to this site, thank god for this site it is 250r heaven, i just bought this quad ,leager narrow with no link rear, the air box stuff on this site has been a savoir, iam sure these jetting specs will be too thanks, the slide has a 7 on it ,next to a star at the bottom, , does this mean i need a 6 slide for better results

Your best plan of attack would be call someone who is an expert. I called duncan racing, they gave me the jetting info. We ran a 7 slide in a race, it worked but not like it should have. Then I called duncan and after changing out the slide it made a big difference. 7.0 slide was for a kawasaki kx500 I was told. 6.0 is the recommended slide. Good luck.
