wear them to school for a day......or just walk around the house with them for a little. Man what I would do for a new pair of boots.

In the past I have simply worn them around the house for an hour or two for a couple days. Then after that you should be ready to ride!!!!!

i just walk around the house and property for a few days. the best way would be trying to run a mile in them lol. i could only imagine how funny that would be to see

walk around in a creek ,then take a hike
just walk arpund the house as much as possible and ride with em DO NOT TAKE THEM ON THE ROAD i did that with my older boots and the meetle tip was scraped to hell and I barely had any tread on the bottom of them. Nice way to blow 200 bucks huh

What kind of boots did you destroy? With most nicer pairs, you can buy seperate peices for them, like the metal peice, or the soles.
I have never had to break in any of my Gaerne SG-10's. But just walk around in them for a day.

Yeah walking around inside and outside of your house helps. I try to focus on flexing the ankle area since it is important for that area to be flexible when riding. I'd say that is about 40% of the break-in right there.....sort of a pre-ride break-in. The rest of the break in will come from actual riding and will break them in real quick.

dunk them in a 5 gallon drum of diesel fuel, set them on your driveway and flick lit matches at them until they ignite. works like a charm every time. :D
