Pappy
04-01-2006, 07:26 PM
i did have to come down on cody a bit tho, with the new 125 he can over shoot his table:ermm: and he did...just to see how far he could jump:scary:
Pappy
04-01-2006, 07:28 PM
i did not count how many times cody hit all the jumps, but it was enough:p
Pappy
04-01-2006, 07:29 PM
atleast he did not get bored after 45 minutes like he does during practice, having others to ride with was nice.

as long as i am able, my kids will enjoy things like this. and hopefully it will make them better people when they get older. its all about fammily and friends...the way it should be!
i only let him hit the new double a few dozen times, with other riders running around it was hard to keep track of everyone and when he hits this jump he is WFO. as you can tell...i get more then a little shakey watching him bust that sucka:p
Rip_Tear
04-01-2006, 07:42 PM
awsome pics Pappy but it's no fair... :p
So how is Ryan doing, getting his confidence up still? Hope he's doing better and can swing back (that is if he wants to).
Pappy
04-01-2006, 07:45 PM
ryan is doing better. he is still unsure about riding but loves to do it. it will take time but he will be good as new before too long. he stayed away from any jump that he could not be fully seen. he knows that getting landed on is no fun.
Pappy
04-01-2006, 07:50 PM
everyone was impressed once they saw cody bust the big double....i know alot of adults that wouldnt hit:p (me being one of them:D )
Pappy
04-01-2006, 07:52 PM
Austin will be coming up every few weeks to ride with us. For being 7 years old he shows alot of good skills and riding with my boys should help him pick up some good riding tips as he progresses
Pappy
04-01-2006, 07:55 PM
Luckily the wind was strong enough to keep the dust under control. the rain they were calling for never came:ermm:
hey pappy
how big is that kid on the cr85? i was thinkin about gettin the expert...how tall is he?
Pappy
04-01-2006, 07:57 PM
Id say Cody C is about 5'4, maybe a touch taller. im 5'10 and the seat hit me right at crotch level.
Pappy
04-01-2006, 07:58 PM
i think im about out of pictures:p
Pappy
04-01-2006, 08:00 PM
Austins Kasea is just about perfect for him. the extra width his dad has added really makes it stable for him to make mistakes and not go out of control
Pappy
04-01-2006, 08:01 PM
i will get some video of cody and get harlen to post it in the video section. pictures just dont show how he works that quad in the air
Pappy
04-01-2006, 08:03 PM

Looks like you guy's had a GOOD time at the house today. Wish you guy's could have made it out to Rocket Race Way with Kevin and I today, but it looks like you guys had just as much fun at home and didnt even have to travel. Cody is showing us what that lil 125cc will do. Glad I could have been a part of that mini hybrid motor swap. It is also good to see Ryan riding after all that he went through with his wreck. (thats my lil buddy).

Kenny and his family always go out of their way to make us feel welcome at their home. The kids had a blast riding,Bridget fixed a great supper and I got a crash course in powdercoating all in one afternoon. It doesn't get much better than that :) I am very lucky to have friends like them and some awesome riding buddies for Austin.
Thanks again guys.....we look forward to doing it again real soon!

If cody gets well into racing, he could be winning some national races by the time he's 16.

Pappy those pics are great!
I started riding at 4 years old on a 60cc yamaha quad and when I was 9 or 10 I got a LT-80. I would like to see a video of cody riding his TRX90 on the track , there is some minis racing in the canadian series , most of them are 90cc predators and some e-ton quads that can actually perform very well when they are modded.
I found the limit on my stock LT-80 very soon when I was riding hard , i would like to see how a modded trx can do. You got a 125cc kit in it ? i guess this is with a porting and a bigger carb?
Pappy
04-09-2006, 04:38 PM
The engine that is installed in this thread is a Xtreme 125cc manual clutch engine out of one of thier pitbikes. Its stock, but does have a 24mm carb
