Wiseco 426 Ring question

i got a 426 kit from wiseco for my 400ex. Im not sure which is the top ring and which is the 2nd ring. One is brass colored the other is metal colored..need help:confused:

unless they are different thickness I don't think it matters. Usually the brass colored ones are wiper rings and will only fit in the bottom slot. BUT did the piston not come with instruction sheet about the rings :confused:

the gold one only fits the top slot.....and then the dark one only fits the second slot....look and try, you will see....

Also check to see if one of the rings is cut at an angel. A piston kit i had for my sons quad was like that from wiseco and it had to be installed facing a certain way.

Also, the top ring should have a small mark (JE rings have a "T") near the ring gap. That mark must face uppwards.
