i just got a set of maxxis razr 2, brand new, all around. they are mounted on stock 06 450r rims that are NOT bent. the problem is that they wont hold air, they leak around the bead. I watched they guy mount them and they poppped on fine, but they wont hold air unless there is about 25lbs of pressure in them, but even then they will leak if i ride it for a minute. anyone know whats goin on?

yea maybe the tires aint the right size for the rims, and if u ride with little air, dirt can get in between rim n tire n cause it to leak, happened to me

I had a tire that was doing that and I got disgusted filling it all the time. I broke the bead on the side that was leaking and put some gasket sealer on the rim. I used the liquid kind that you let set up for a few minutes and get tacky before it goes together. Then I popped the tire back on and no more leak.

i have heard and have no idea never done it

Put a bit of radiator fluid in there and it will help seal it up.
