Tightening chain on 300ex

I know this sounds like a stupid question but just want to make sure I use the two bolts on the end of the swimgarm they are bolts for an allen wrench and there are two of them on each side of the swinger, im asking this because it looks different on the back of the swinger the way the bolts were on my blaster.

You loosen them and on the right of the sprocket there is a thing w/ grooves in it u stick the allen wrench in there and pull it back.

I wouldn't use an allen wrench to turn the carrier. I have broken 2 of them already. I use a punch that fits into the grooves. They tend to be stronger. Just my $.02.

just get some channel locks to turn the dial thing.
