Anyone ever make their own break lines? If so, what is needed, any special tools?

you could make them, but finding the correct fittings/ends for the lines might be difficult. If your gonna make new rubber lines, you would have to have the tool/machine that crimps the fittings/ends to the hose. If your gonna make steel braided lines you would need to be able to also crimp the lines or braze them to the fittings. Unless you have access to an industrial hose and fitting shop with tools your probably gonna be way better off time and money wise to BUY some new brake lines !
