Did you wire one wire of the kill switch to the coil and the other to ground or did you try to wire it in with the existing kill switch?

i ran one to my to my shock bolt for the ground and spliced one in my key switch to the negative. It wasent blowing fuses until recently tho. Before i could pull the teather out and put it back in and it would start up and wouldent blow any fuses but no it does?

There are two types of kill switches.. Normally open and normally closed.

The open type is designed to shunt the coil energy to ground once the tether is pulled... If you have this type in line with your ignition key, when you pull the tether, your shunting +12 volts to ground and thus popping a fuse.

The closed type should be wired in series with the existing kill switch that works by suppling a 12 volt signal to the CDI. When the signal is interupted, the 300ex engine shutsdown.

90+ % of the tethered kill switches sold are the normally open type.
