Did I make the right choice?

I just ordered a 2006 trx 450r from my local dealer. I couldnt get the HRC kit like I wanted, but I still got the kickstart. They had to order it so it should be here in 7-10 days. Did I make the right choice? My buddy just got a yfz 450 and he says it would eat the new 450r. I'm just curious.

everybody likes to think thier stuff is the best, the bikes will run right with each other, just depends on the rider and what performance mods you do. you made a good choice

****in'a The 450r will be the smartest choice u will ever make. My friends that had yfz's have now all switched to 450rs trust me u will like it, i will be getting one as soon as i sell my other 2 race quads.

Thanks yall now i need to know what kind of exhaust to put on it. I'm thinking of HMF silencer with and FMF powerbomb header. What do you think?

What year is your friends YFZ, what mods does he have, and by how much do you want to smoke him? Also, why couldn't you get the HRC kit?

If u orderd the HRC kit it comes with a nice header.Just get a nice slip on and you ll be golden!

I wasnt approved for the loan with the extra it wouldve taken to get the HRC but I probably will just get it next and then get a HMF silencer. His YFZ is an 05 and it just has exhaust, jet kit, and a air filter. Its nothing special, I promise. Does the HRC kit come with any type of intake or is it just the header and carb stuff?

e starts are great but justs depends on your type of riding , i took the e start, i like it more than kickin over my banshee. i rape banshees and yfz 450's all day long. the 05's are a bit slower than the 06's yfz but the 05's do have a lil more potential because they do have a higher comp piston.

I think all japanese 450's are good its when china starts making a 450, thats when you need to watch out......lol
