2001 250 ex carb adjustments

I can get the quad to idle just fine, but as soon as I put it into gear it dies. I have tried the side adjustment on the carb to no avail. It is my wifes ride and I don't want problems for her.

sounds like your idle is too low or the auto clutch is sticking.

The idle I can up. Any adjustment on the auto-clutch?

get a clymer manual for the clutch. It explains how to adjust the clutch really good. Plus it is good for a lot of other things and is nice to have.
