i had a 95 dakota..just totaled it..

had heartthrob duals on it. its a cat back system (i took my cat out:chinese: ) it splits where the muffler should be, and has two chrome glasspack tips on the back. looks and sounds really sharp....

of course after a few months of having it on there i pulled the tips and ran straight pipes:p

Really the best systems i've heard on the 6's is a cheap glasspack. The flowmasters sound ricey on them and i didn't like the gibson i heard at the truck show.

on my 01 i just put a glass pack, it sounds allright, whtever you do though is do not put duals on it, sounds like crap on a v-6, go with a single 3" or 3.5" maybe a gibson, that is what i am thinking od getting on mine, either that or JBA stainless headers and exhaust.

well it is really hard to make a 6 sound good. they just never have a good tone to them. But, a glasspack will sound decent on them, better than the flowdisaster. A flow sounds great on a v8, but on a 6 just doesnt sound good at all.

I have Flow Master on my '96 and I love the way it sounds. Not too loud.

definitely go glasspack. I dad's an 04 with the 3.9 and he put on gibson, flowmaster and didn't liek the sound, way to ricey. The glasspack was made by thrush and gave it a nice throaty sound for a v-6, and they're wicked cheap too. you really won't get that much performance gains, maybe a couple wheel hp, even with a full system. And running straights with no cat or muffler will actually give you less hp if the pipes are too big. headers with an Xpipe into dual glasspacks sound awsome.

if u put turbo mufflers on it it'll kinda make it sound like a motor boat. but its sounds alrite
