Anyone have/use these trail tech computer things. Im really interested in getting one for my harescramble races. they would be great for keeping track of lap times and such. Do you need the trail tech bars to be able to mount the little computer? How well do they do in water and mud?

heres an example so you know what im talkin about

my friend just put one on his and on his regular bars...im not sure about the muddy thing but its working good for him...

my brother has one that used to be mine. It mounts on the stock bars and is water resistent. We have never had a problem with it. There is many usefull features, and seems pretty accurate.

could one of you please measure how wide it is, so i can see if it will mount between my handlebar clamps on my renthals, i'd really appreciate it!

its 3 1/2 inches wide.

I had one, it was pretty cool, but it only stould up to a couple of years of riding. the only thing i didn't like was you had to press the button for it to light up at night

anyone know anything about these lynx systems?...it says the backlight is always on
