'01???

Any one have a guess on what % of 01's haven't had the tranny problem yet?

ALL of them have problems with them. It is just that most of the time they wore out so quick, that the dealer replaced them under warrenty.

Not ALL.....Mine was 1 of the 1st to hit US Soil and im still on the orgional Tranny:D

I just Bought an 01 thats has its original tranny and seems to be fine. Im not saying its not going to go out. but its ok now.

if it was gonna go it would have went by now.......and if it does go now i doubt it was from the flaw

Mine had 2 01 trannys go before
I sued them and they fixed it with
the 02/05 tranny

my buddy has an 01 he bought new then, and he rides the crap out of it and has never had a problem

Alot of 2001's for sale for cheap, if I buy a raptor it's going to be 2003-up. I want a yfz, but I don't know about the prices of these things. they are darn high.

You should go with 04' or up. If you get a 03', it is pretty much the same as a 02'. They have starter problems.

I had a warr. and they wouldn't honor
it the 2 time so I paid for it and then took
them to small claims that got there attn.
they called me as soon as they were served!!!!!
they then mailed a check with the court cost
