Having trouble with the hot start on the works connection Elite perch....

I lost the directions!!! I cant figure out how to get the hot start hooked up. What needs adjusted?? I dont know what im doin wrong but i feel like a dumbass...any help would be appreciated.

DOES THE HOT START CABLE HAVE A LOT A PLAY IN IT?.
IF SO THERE SHOULD BE A SMALL LITTLE SPACER TO PUT INBETWEEN THE PERCH ON THE INSIDE OF THE CABLE ,WHICH TAKES UP THE SLACK...

wow...i got ahold of works....i wasnt aware that a baldwin cable was required, its on order now. This wouldve been nice to know. haha
