clutch noise

just put my clutch back together with h/d springs when it ticks over it OK when in gear its OK when i pull the clutch in it disengages and rattles badly but when the wheels stop turning the noise goes away so it only rattles when it's in gear clutch in and coasting.
one thing i did notice when it was apart that the last metal plate was sitting below the center hub
any ideas
