how loud are the shorty pipes, are they race lagal

Very, Very Loud. and they aer not AMA legal anymore i think. you may be able to run them at a local event, but not at a GNC event

Can't really.. the cannister is very short so there is a very small distance of the core that is preforated. Probably about 1/3 of a normal pipe if you account for the 1 on each end thats not preforated.

You could reduce the disks.. but you still wont get under the dB limit.

I shortened my LRD Pipe close to 5 inches with a sazawl. Because there was a giant dent in the can before. Now it makes close to the same power. And it isnt any louder than it was as long as I keep it packed good.
