i have just installed a duncan pc2000 265 powervalve cylinder on my bike and a cr 250 ignition it ran fine before i put the ignition on it and now it sounds like a misfire or something when i mash the throttle to accelerate i checked the jetting and it is not too rich and not too lean i checked the spark plug gap i switched reeds and it still has 175 lbs of compression i am just wondering if it might be the cdi or something on the cr ignition going bad it idles fine and runs ok putting around on it buit when i give it gas it sounds like it is bogging to start with and then when the powerband kicks in it starts misfiring someone please help me with this
and another question about the carb i just got it also and since i have installed it when i crank it it idles kinda high but i am not sure how to adjust the idle i tried the air screw but it does not change it that much maybe you can also help me with this too thanks ryan email me at bigbore250r39@aol.com
