Today My friend was so confident that after he installed his 11.5:1 Wiseco Piston, Hot Cams Cam, and He has stage 2 jetting, no airbox lid, and full FMF exhaust On his 05 450r. We drag raced down the road and I had 3 Quad lengths on him after about 500 feet.HA! I love my 06. Then my other friend got back today and he has an 05 YFZ 450 with a full jet kit, full HMF exhaust, no lid, and we were dead even through every gear down the road. I am really excited to get mine on the Dyno to see what the HRC kit puts out on the 06. I still am running lean with a 168 main jet and a 45 pilot. I also still need to install a slip on. I am thinking about going with A Yoshimura slip-on. I dont want it too loud, but i want it to sound nice and make that extra 3 tenths of a horse to pull my buddy's yfz down the road. The 06 with the HRC kit Rocks!
