hmf vs white bros

i want to know your opinions on whether i should get a white brothers mx4 or a hmf sport series. i currently have a white brothers r4 exhaust and it works great for where i ride, and i realized when looking at the white brothers site that the mx4 is basically the same thing as an r4. any help is appreciated.

they stopped makin the r4 except for cr50s. and i'm fairly certain the mx4 is basically the same thing.

HMF will definitely give you more power than the White Bros. but the HMF is going to be louder by a little bit as well. White Bros. makes a good pipe apparently, but I personally don't like the way they sound, and there have been some questions as to the mounts cracking. If loud isn't a problem, go HMF.

thanks for all your feedback. i think i'll go with the hmf. i like white bros in general, but their new pipes just suck. they're one piece of aluminum which means you cant change the endcap if it gets damaged like my last one. i also like the fact that hmf gives me color options and sells many accesories to go with the pipe. even with the colored pipe it's still $50 cheaper too!

i love my r4, but it's just beat to hell. the baffle is cracked in too many places to count and i got rear-ended last year and that really messed it up. now the packing blows out the front and back of the exhaust when i get in the gas.

thnx again for all your help. you really brought up some good points for me to look at. i ordered the hmf about an hour ago. i'll post a new thread about it's performance when i get it.
