removing 450r gas tank

what is the trick to getting the tank off the honda 450r?

There is no trick. Take the plastic off. Then there are two bolts and two rubber straps. Dont forget the gas line.

the two bolts up on top on the front plastic? where are the two straps you speak of?

They are towards the back.

Besides the bolts that go through the plastic there are two more after you get the plastic loose or off.
