I just purchased a 2002 honda trx250 sporttrax and it is in desperate need of tires. I am looking for a good all around tire. the fronts are 21x7x10 and the rears are 20X10x9. The selection of tires in this size appears to be small is there a better size for this quad that will work on stock rims and not rub? And what make and model should i buy?
Thanks in advance for all your help

I personally like 22's on the 250 better. I have tried 21's in the front and wheelies are very hard to do, and it makes the back tire pick up more in the turns. I have maxxis razr's in the front. They work great. A very good tire. The back I am not sure since I still have stock ones. I hear that kenda klaws work good, and I also see a lot of maxxis razr's on the back of 250's. 22's in the front and 22's in the back are the best combo In my opinion. I have tried 20's in the back and it revs out way to fast.

I dont think 22x10x9's are availible except for stock tires. 22x11x9's are what you should get. The stock tires are 22's, so you will not have any clearence problems with 22's.

will 11" tires fit on the stock wheels which are only 8" wide?

The rims are 8 inches tall, not wide. Yes, they will fit.
