i have a vw railbuggy for sale or trade.
body---
shortback frame
king/link pin front end
aluminum treadplate floor
aluminum master cylinder resevoir
aluminum control panel/switch panel
working turn signals
quick disconnect steering wheel
3 point harness for driver and passenger
passenger grab bar
fiberglass seats and covers
t handle shifter
spun aluminum fuel tank
aluminum roof
fog light
high/low lights
kc lights (super bright)
backup lights
tail/brake lights
new trw steering box
tranny/drive---
3 rib bus tranny
new thrust plate, and shift ball
porsche 924 axles and cv joints
rear disc brakes
pedal operated w/ dual handle turning brake
boxed trailing arms
engine---
1835 cc
counterweighted crankshaft
german lifters
swivel foot valve adjusters
aluminum bolt on valve covers
engle vz15 camshaft
aluminum bolt on cam gear
high volume oil pump
full flow pump cover
auxiliary oil cooler and filter
sand seal pulley
bosch 009 distributor, electronic ignition
dual 40mm weber carburetors
hex bar linkage
electric fuel pump
doghouse fan housing and doghouse oil cooler
tri mil 1 3/4 inch exhaust with quietpack muffler and stinger
hd engine/tranny skid plate
motor runs great and sounds great whether you run the stinger or the quiet
pack turbo muffler. i usually leave the muffler on it cause it is loud and
obnoxious for trail riding or street riding but the stinger
sounds great when drag racing or mud running.
buggy comes with it own trailer and a set of 32 inch super swampers. i am sure i
have forgotten some stuff but that is the majority of the stuff with it.
this buggy has a title and is insured and i drive it on the street but it
may not be "legal" as far as having a horn, or little things like that. i
have been pulled over lots in it but never been in any trouble because it
has been titled and licensed so if you were to be using it in ohio you
should not have any problem if you wanted to use it on the street. i think
the cops just wanted to make sure i wasn't causing any trouble and probably
wanted to check it out. it turns heads everywhere i drive it.
i am not real anxious to get rid of it but i have 3 quads and two
trikes in my garage right now along with a friends vw type 3 i am rebuilding
the motor for and i would like to just get something different to play with.
let me know what you think. also where are you located? i am asking $4000 or trade for a newer 450 or 250r. let me know what you have
thanks
